There may be times where a user changes their mobile number. As your mobile number is your unique username in buzzzie and must be accessible to receive a passcode it is important when a user changes their number that their buzzzie account must be migrated to the new number.


Users are able to perform this migration themselves using the app migration request service. When using this service, all settings, Helpers and Subscriptions will be migrated over to the new number so the user can login with their new number and carry on from where they left off.


This also prevents unauthorised access to a user’s account if their old number is recycled and the new owner joins buzzzie.
